The tried-and-tested organic recipe is being further developed and will in future be enhanced with selected new ingredients – naturally all organic and with the same mild flavour as always.

Our Super Premium formula has been further developed and is now the first and only Swiss formula of its kind to contain 7 HMOs.

What makes the new Bimbosan so special?
In this Q&A, you’ll find out what improvements have been made and why it’s our best Bimbosan ever.
When it comes to everyday life with a baby, things should be simple and straightforward – especially when it comes to feeding. To better meet the needs of babies and parents, we have made improvements in collaboration with parents and experts to make choosing products even easier.
Packaging
All our Bimbosan milks now come in a folding carton with a new design. The new icons on the front show the key product features at a glance, making it easier to choose the right product.
Measuring spoon
Each pack now includes a new measuring spoon (blue) for easy and convenient preparation. After use, this can be stored directly in the designated spoon holder on the folding box. Please dispose of the old measuring spoons (white).
Product optimisations
With the following exceptions, all recipes and names remain unchanged:
• Bimbosan Super Premium, now with 7 HMOs
• Bimbosan Balance is now called Bimbosan Sensitive
• Bimbosan Bio will be optimised by the end of 2026
Bimbosan Super Premium is now the first Swiss formula to contain a blend of 7 HMOs. These HMOs account for around 45% of the HMOs found in breast milk. Human milk oligosaccharides are the third-largest solid component of breast milk, after lactose and fats. The remaining ingredients and the taste remain unchanged.
To make it even easier to navigate the product range, the name is being changed from Bimbosan Balance to Bimbosan Sensitive. The new name makes it even clearer that the product is suitable for sensitive tummies. The formula remains unchanged.
The improved Bimbosan Bio will be available at the end of 2026. Further details will be provided at a later date.
With the exception of Bimbosan Super Premium, Bimbosan Organic and Bimbosan Sensitive, all products feature the message ‘NEW LOOK / SAME FORMULA’.
Our high quality standards, Swiss manufacturing and the popular, mild taste of our Bimbosan products remain unchanged.
Switching between the old and new formulas is straightforward and can be done without any concerns. The composition of the prebiotic dietary fibres has been adjusted: the products now contain less GOS and more HMOs. The only important thing is to always follow the dosage chart on the relevant packaging and use the correct measuring spoon:
• White spoon = dosage chart on the previous packaging
• Blue spoon = new dosage chart on new packaging
Our products will continue to be available in pharmacies and chemists, at Coop and online. The transition to the new products will take place gradually from summer 2026.
The launch date may vary depending on the retailer. During the transition period, both the current and new products may be on the shelves at the same time.
